Facebook

Like almost every college student in America I use Facebook. After reading the article, I was a little suprised at how companies are using Facebook to get a feel for potential employees. I do not believe that this is fair because people should have a private place where they can view pictures and talk to their friends in peace without having to worry about prying eyes. Now, if Facebook is truly giving way to companies, something else will arise that will allow people privacy. Some people use Facebook for networking, however most people use Facebook as a way to keep in touch with friends. It is absurd that this should be used against people for finding a job. What is the difference between this and tapping phone lines?

I am fairly fluent in Microsoft Word. I am able to perform almost any action and am able to find any action I do not know by heart. Also, I can use alternate paths to achieve the same result. I understand how Microsoft Office programs work together and although I do not use the e-mail system I understand its basic use. With Word, I have been making fliers and writing papers for several years so my understanding has grown with it.

Hello my name is Ryan Beall (pronounced Bell). I am from Santa Barbara, California, which is about 100 miles north of LA and is the most northern city in Southern California. I play basketball for Trinity and love to play all different kinds of sports. I also like to play video games and read science fiction as well as other genres of books. I have included a link to the street approaching my house. I did not write any information about a scavenger hunt because I was absent the first day of school due to a basketball trip. I have no special computer skills beyond that which I have taught myself. I am fairly adept at using computers although I boast no particualarly exceptional talent. I am able to use the internet well as well as most of the Microsoft office except for Excel. I have never used Excel so it is fairly new to me. My e-mail is Rbeall@trinity.edu
